About me
I discovered a passion for audio storytelling while studying journalism at the University of Texas at Austin. Audio has the power to transport the listener into the narrative, and it conveys the feeling, texture and nuance that human stories deserve.
While in school, I did everything I could to learn more about audio production and storytelling. I joined The Daily Texan’s audio department, where I eventually became audio editor. I also began working at The Drag audio production house. Here, I worked as producer on “Lady Bird,” a documentary podcast series about the life and legacy of Lady Bird Johnson.
As I pursued opportunities in audio, I also gained experience working in social media and marketing. These roles let me hone other form of storytelling, as I created content to promote a brand’s mission among its target audience.
